Preconference Workshop Proposal Submission Guidelines
ICDAM 2023 welcomes proposals for preconference workshops. Preconference workshops will be hosted on the University of Limerick Campus, on Monday, June 26.
Preconference workshops will be programmed from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Workshops can be programmed for a half day (3 hours) or full day (6 hours).
Attendees wishing to attend preconference workshops will have the opportunity to register for an additional fee at the time they register for the conference.
Workshops should address one or more ICDAM 2023 stream(s):

Special note regarding consent to recording, livestreaming, and future use
Due to ongoing uncertainties associated with the pandemic and other events, it may be necessary to change the format of ICDAM 2023. We will be prepared to make conference format delivery adjustments if necessary. In this regard, ICDAM 2023 will be asking for consent to recording, livestreaming, and future use as part of the preparations. Scientific content is still the property of the presenters, but the usage of the video is at the discretion of ICDAM. Presenters may revoke permission to share the video at any time with written communication to ICDAM at icdam@podiumconferences.com

- Combining methods to enhance measurement
- Contextual factors (e.g., environmental modifiers)
- Database development and resources
- Machine learning and data science approaches
- Methods development and feasibility and validation research
- Patterns (multidimensionality and dynamism)
- Physical activity and dietary assessment across the lifespan
- Statistical aspects, including measurement error
- Technological advances

- Specify half-day (3 hours) or full-day (6 hours)
- Workshop chairperson name, affiliation, and email address
- Workshop speakers (names and affiliations) in order of presentations (Maximum of 4 speakers)
- Abstract summary for the program (approximately 400 characters)
- Consent or not to recording, livestreaming, or future use of ICDAM 2023 presentation
- Previous experience organizing and managing workshops, symposia, conferences (max 200 characters)
- 3 S.M.A.R.T.* learning objectives (max 100 characters each)
- *S.M.A.R.T. objectives are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-oriented
- Minimum number of participants
- Maximum number of participants
- Select maximum 2 relevant ICDAM streams (as described above)
- Abstract for review:
- An overall workshop abstract a maximum of 1600 characters (including spaces) with rationale for inclusion in ICDAM 2023
- Optional: one figure (graph or table) is permitted to be uploaded (pdf format)
