The International Conference on Diet and Activity Methods (ICDAM) is the only international venue dedicated to advances in diet and physical activity assessment. The vision for ICDAM is to provide a forum for the presentation of high-quality and novel research and dialogue to advance methods for assessing dietary and physical activity exposures and outcomes. ICDAM adopts a holistic perspective in terms of learning across disciplines, career stages, and international contexts.

The host will be responsible for activities related to planning and executing a three-day conference, ideally to take place between April and September 2022, including but not limited to:
We expect to work with an established professional conference organizer who will assist ICDAM and the local host in developing a budget and implementing planning activities (e.g., securing a venue) prior to collecting registration dues, easing the financial pressure of start-up costs for the host.

The letter should provide sufficient information such that it is clear that the proposed host has the capacity and experience to execute a successful conference focused on diet and physical activity methods for at least 500 persons and that the location is appropriate. In particular, please provide brief information on the proposed host organization(s) and key personnel, proposed venue, and associated details. Developing partnerships across multiple organizers is acceptable, but a key organizer should be evident. - Appointing a local organizing committee to work in collaboration with the International Steering Committee and an affiliated professional conference organizer to:
- Determine the meeting theme and streams, identify and secure keynote and invited speakers, and develop the conference program;
- Manage logistical details, including securing a venue and accommodation options, organizing catering, receiving and adjudicating participant submissions, managing registration, communicating with attendees, and organizing a conference dinner and other social events;
- Develop and maintain a website (to be launched at least one year in advance of the conference) to disseminate conference details; manage the submission of proposals for satellite meetings, pre-conference workshops, and symposia, as well as abstracts for oral and poster presentations; collect registration fees; and disseminate information related to accommodation, travel, and local tourism;
- Develop a conference app to provide customized information for attendees, including the conference program and abstracts;
- Deliver a healthy and sustainable meeting, as per WHO guidelines (http://www.euro.who.int/__data/assets/pdf_file/0005/373172/healthy-meetings-eng.pdf), and an inclusive and accessible meeting (see https://500womenscientists.org/inclusive-scientific-meetings and similar resources).

- Description of proposed venue, accommodating at least 500 attendees
- Details of available rooms/space for plenaries, concurrent symposia and oral sessions, poster sessions and exhibits, pre-conference workshops, welcome reception, and opening/closing ceremonies

- Information related to transportation to the region (i.e., accessibility for attendees from various regions around the world) and from the airport/train station/other relevant points to the proposed venue (details regarding more sustainable options, if available, are encouraged)
