ICDAM VIRTUAL 2021 Diet and Activity Assessment: A Global Vision welcomes submissions related to the conference streams:
THE CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS IS NOW CLOSED.
Abstracts should be written in English and clearly and concisely describe research related to diet and/or physical activity assessment methods, relevant to the conference streams noted above. Accepted abstracts will be published on the conference website.
Abstracts are expected to include results rather than an indication that results will be presented. Upon submission, authors will be requested to identify their preferred mode of presentation (oral or poster) and one or more related conference streams. There is no limit on the number of abstracts an author may submit.
Please follow the formatting instructions below in order for your abstract to be considered:
- Methods development and feasibility and validation research
- Technological advances
- Biomarkers
- Combining methods to enhance measurement
- Statistical aspects, including measurement error
- Machine learning and data science approaches
- Patterns (multidimensionality and dynamism)
- Database development and resources
- Contextual factors (e.g., environmental modifiers)

Symposia - CLOSED
The call for symposia proposals is now closed.
Symposia offer the opportunity to explore a common theme, emerging developments, or controversies. Symposia can take different formats, such as talks by multiple presenters followed by a discussant, or panel discussions.
The inclusion of discussion time within all symposia is recommended. Accepted symposia will be programmed for 90 minutes.
Symposia must integrate participants (including chairs/presenters/discussants) from multiple countries. Symposia that bridge the assessment of diet and physical activity are encouraged.
Notifications of symposia acceptance were sent via email in early November, 2019. All presenters taking part in an accepted symposia were required to submit abstracts by December 1st, 2019.

Pre-conference workshops will be hosted at the conference venue on Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th. Attendees wishing to attend pre-conference workshops will have the opportunity to register for an additional fee at the time they register for the conference.
